Liz Tilbury, CCIM - Principal Broker & Owner
The owner of Tilbury Ferguson Investment Real Estate, Inc., Liz has been in the apartment brokerage business since 1982. During that time she has closed over $550,000,000 in sales ranging from historic, inner city buildings to newer, suburban garden courts. As a fifth generation Oregonian, she is very familiar with the local area.
Owning several multifamily projects in the Portland area, Liz is an experienced apartment owner and understands what is involved with owning and operating apartments.
Liz Tilbury has been a CCIM since 1986 and has built her success on repeat business. She attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and graduated from University of Oregon with a B.S. in Journalism. Prior to her career in real estate, she was the Oregon Director for an environmental organization. She is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Nature Conservancy of Oregon and is a member former of the Board of Friends of Trees, a local tree planting organization which has planted over 300,000 trees in the greater Portland area. She is also involved with World Vision, an international aid organization.
Thomas Marcus - Associate Broker
Thomas has been involved with commercial real estate since 2007. After graduating from Oregon State University with a degree in Finance, he worked as a Commercial Analyst for the Commercial Appraisal firm Palmer, Groth & Pietka (PGP). Focusing on industrial, office and multifamily properties, he was responsible for financial analysis and modeling of investment returns as well as research and reporting current trends in the market.
After joining Tilbury Ferguson, he has worked on multiple projects during the acquisition, disposition and marketing phases and interacts directly with buyers and sellers to analyze the properties and local market, structure transactions and add value to investments.
